From the testing of animals we have discovered medications that help dogs who are dealing with heart worms. Heart Worms is a very serious medical issue that regards dogs, so this is a breakthrough that has been helpful to many animals (Beattie, Animal Testing). Another example of how animal testing helps animals is we have developed a better understanding of cats nutrition, and why they live longer than other animals.” (Beattie 1) This sort of testing helps us understand why some species live longer than others, and also helps us erase a bit of the question mark that is animal (Beattie).
